perlbal software package provides Perl-based reverse proxy load balancer and web server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install perlbal
perlbal is installed in your system.
Make ensure the perlbal package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep perlbal *
You will get with perlbal package name, version, architecture and description in a table
